Yarn Craft
This course is for anyone interested in learning about yarn-based crafts and the different ways we can construct textiles and mixed media pieces using a variety of different yarns and thinly cut materials. Through workshops we will explore various techniques, such as tapestry weaving, knitting, crochet and macrame. For the first half of the course, you will get a chance to experiment with each of these techniques individually, and then decide which one you would like to focus on in more depth for the second half of the course.
This course is suitable for beginners with little or no experience or those looking to develop their existing skills.
This course begins on Monday 22nd April 1 – 3pm. This course runs every Monday for 10 weeks.
