Find Out More About: Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression – Friday 2 October, 12-1pm with Louise Adams – Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust
Join us for a patient friendly overview of Talking Therapies. We will explore what talking therapies are, how to find your way around the different support services and some of the most frequently asked questions. You will also get chance to ask questions about Talking Therapies in a reassuring and friendly environment. (Please note that this is not a therapy session).
NHS Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression is a free primary care service for anyone aged 16 and over who is struggling to manage symptoms of anxiety and depression. In this session, we will explain how to access the service, what support is available, and the range of therapies we offer to help people improve their mental wellbeing.
This free lunchtime session would be useful to you if you think you, or someone you care for may need support with anxiety and/or depression, but don’t know what talking therapies are, if you are a Mental Health Champion or First Aider and want to know more, or if you work in a signposting role and need to now more about how to refer people to this service.
