06oct12:0012:45Finding Out More About Co-counselling

Event Details

Co-counselling provides an extremely effective resource for you, your colleagues, employees and service users to process issues from their work or day to day lives and for their ongoing personal development.

In this session you will have the opportunity to meet John and Jean from Donington Training, a not for profit partnership and find out more about what co-counselling is, how it works and how you can get involved.

Successful completion of this course qualifies participants to become members of Co-Counselling International (CCI).  This means that they can have as many co-counselling sessions as they can arrange with other co-counsellors for no further fee for the rest of their lives.

Each participant pays what they think the course is worth and they can afford. Any money left after expenses will go to local charities.

Co-counselling works on the basis that participants take equal turns to be client and counsellor, so it is a simple exchange, which is why it is free.

Co-counselling is an excellent approach to self-development for most people – you don’t have to be ill to get better.  It is valuable for anyone working in a caring role, as a volunteer or professional.  It enables them to process issues that come up in the work, to become more relaxed and better at listening and supporting.
